ZiP Diagnostics is an Australian-owned, Melbourne-based, biotech manufacturer that was established in 2019. Our mission is to develop high-quality, point-of-care (POC) diagnostic tests and instruments for critical diseases impacting global health, including the agricultural sector.

We proudly design and manufacture our innovative products at our world-class facilities in Melbourne, Australia, operating under ISO-13485 certified quality systems for in vitro diagnostic products. ZiP’s unique capability is critical to secure the supply of important health products to meet Australia’s needs and to provide a capability that can respond rapidly to novel biosecurity outbreaks and threats.

ZiP Diagnostics’ tests and readers can be deployed into diverse and decentralised settings, including remote and rural health clinics, veterinary practices, farms, and environmental monitoring programs. Our platforms can also be used in the agricultural industry for detection of introduced diseases, endemic diseases and for environmental testing.

ZiP Diagnostics is looking to progress discussions with interested parties to trial and/or develop a range of tests for cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry, among other AgTech applications.
