PlasmaLeap Technologies is leading the race developing next generation solutions for sustainable nitrogen fertilizer. Bespoke reactors combine leading energy efficiency & production rates for nitrate and ammonia synthesis. Our pilot system (eNFIX:electrification nitrogen fixation) has been developed and deployed. Planned rollouts across Australia and Ethiopia will demonstrate the impact of the technology in both developed and underdeveloped nations and indigenous regions. We are focussed on the future of food security, price certainty and equality in product supply for farmers whilst simultaneously addressing one of the world’s biggest CO2 emitting sectors. Without providing the agricultural sector with green fertilizer, the world can never truly hit its net zero targets. PlasmaLeap Technologies is proudly an NSW-based green technology company who have developed a zero-emissions synthesis pathway for the production of fertiliser (and eFuels) from air, water, and renewable electricity. The technology is built on a foundation of Australian research out of USyd and UNSW, and enables cheap, on-demand, and decentralised production. Ammonia derived fertilisers are a huge contributor to global greenhouse gas emissions. Industry advances have been insufficient to enable viable green Nitrogenous Fertilizers with the sector struggling to “green” the fossil fuel driven Haber Bosch.
