Optiweigh is a groundbreaking advancement in livestock weighing technology, offering real-time weight monitoring directly from the paddock.

This patented, portable system, takes less than 5 minutes to set up, captures grazing animal weights without manual weighing using an attractant and recording the data with the livestock’s Electronic Identification Device (EID). The data is sent to the cloud, and an algorithm calculates the total body weight, updating multiple times daily through both cellular and satellite connectivity. Users receive daily summaries via an app, a daily email and a web portal as well. This includes mob data and individual animal data.

Optiweigh eliminates the need for livestock weighing reducing livestock stress, time and labour costs, benefiting livestock operations of any size. More importantly, weight is the window to our livestock's' world. The data collected allows better farm management through improved pasture and crop utilisation, identification of nutritional deficiencies, impacts of water quality and the impact of climate and animal health.
