METASORB is an Australian nanotechnology startup developing PFAS-free advanced surface coatings engineered to protect critical infrastructure and equipment exposed to harsh operating environments.
Our coatings are designed to extend the life and reliability of assets that experience corrosion, chemical exposure, abrasion, and biofouling.
In agricultural settings, this includes farm machinery, irrigation systems, storage infrastructure, processing equipment, and transport assets that are routinely exposed to fertilisers, soil abrasion, moisture, and variable weather conditions. By improving corrosion resistance, durability, and surface performance, METASORB coatings aim to reduce maintenance costs, increase equipment lifespan, and improve operational reliability for producers and agribusiness operators. We are currently collaborating with CSIRO, UNSW, and the University of Sydney to accelerate industrial validation and scale manufacturing in Australia.
