SPANEX (Meem International Pty Ltd) is a Melbourne-based agritech in early-stage Australian commercialisation of two distinct biotechnologies. Our primary product is an encapsulated microbial biofertilizer — pharmaceutical-grade HPMC capsules containing 10¹² CFU of plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria, Eight specialised SKUs target nitrogen fixation (Rhizobium, Azotobacter, Azospirillum, Gluconacetobacter), phosphorus and potassium solubilisation, and zinc solubilisation. Two-year ambient shelf life, no cold chain. Our second technology is a powder-based shelf-life extension treatment for fresh produce — mixed with water and applied at the packhouse to extend ambient shelf life of berries, citrus, grapes, tomatoes, potatoes and more. Currently in trial phase, commercial release targeted Q4 2026.
