Main Sequence Ventures aims to help Australia’s most ambitious deep tech founders build the industrial giants of tomorrow. Our strategy is to invest early and partner with disruptive companies at every growth stage, thereby delivering venture scale returns to investors while creating jobs, boosting productivity, and increasing exports. We aim to help Australia become a net producer of deep tech companies and products instead of a net consumer.

Main Sequence Ventures was formed by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and a team of experienced venture capitalists to manage the CSIRO Innovation Funds, which have $500m under management. We are always interested to meet scientists and founders with ideas for deep technology businesses that we can fuel with our early-stage business building skills, networks and capital. Get in touch!
