PIRSA: AgTech Demonstration Farms Program

Opportunity for

  • AgTech providers, developers, and researchers who are looking to partner with primary producers to test, demo or validate their technology on farm.

Opportunity description

Industry challenge

AgTech Demonstration Farms program, led by PIRSA, tackles the industry challenge of fostering AgTech adoption among primary producers. By actively showcasing the benefits of technology in farm management, the program aims to elevate productivity, profitability, and best practice systems for producers across different farming systems.

Through direct engagement with diverse AgTech solutions and collaborative efforts between developers, suppliers, and primary producers, the initiative not only facilitates informed technology assessments but also fosters collaboration to ensure that the deployed technology is user-centric and effective.

Current opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from developers and suppliers who would like to deploy products on one of our demonstration farms. We are specifically interested in showcasing climate technology relevant for the demonstration farms.

Successful applicants also benefit from:

  • Their products featuring in our virtual tours of the AgTech demonstration farms.
  • Invitations to collaborate with us at AgTech events, including guest speaker opportunities.

This opportunity helps you collaborate and connect with agricultural industry customers. In a farm environment, you can showcase your technology for primary producers and check that it meets their needs.

For your AgTech to be considered for demonstration, it must meet certain criteria and improve a relevant farm management decision or activity.

Demonstration farms:
