Thrive Corporate Roundtable – Food trend
MLA will pilot with Thrive to test and learn how multinationals from adjacent sectors respond to several key mega trends facing the food industry. The aim will be to complete series of discovery workshops that can then help MLA frame and test key assumptions to unlock higher valued opportunity spaces for Australian red meat. Key themes will include Food innovations for an ageing population, consumer drivers for reducing food waste, and considering lamb as an indulgent experience against other proteins. Anticipating the implications and consequences of these trends and how they might align to MLA 2025 strategy for growing red meat sales and demand is a key focus area for MLA High Value Foods Frontier program.
