Smarter irrigation for profit

This project established under the Rural R&D For Profit Program, focusses on practical, cost effective strategies to improve the water productivity of Australian cropping and pasture irrigators and by doing so address and provide solutions to the challenge of reduced water availability. Improving water use efficiency both pre farm and on farm is the focus of the four dairy projects. This will be achieved by improving the understanding, and increasing the use of technology that can aid in irrigation decisions.
