Smarter Irrigation 2: Economic dairy case studies

An outcome of the Smarter Irrigation for Profit (SIP) project is the adoption of new irrigation technologies and science application by farmers and irrigation professionals to improve farm profits. This project focusses on the evaluation of the farm level economic impact of adoption of new technologies and practices in the suite of water use efficiency (WUE) research projects under SIP 1 and 2. Five dairy case studies will be undertaken to assess the long-term economic impacts of the technologies and any challenges associated with their ongoing management.
