Reinventing Australian agricultural statistics system
The Australian agricultural statistics system is in a process of evolution, but is still far from ideal. There is a need to improve the collection, analysis and timely provision of agricultural statistics by taking innovative, cooperative action to improve the way this information is gathered and distributed. The objective of this project is to identify and evaluate agricultural and agriculture-related datasets that could be utilised to enhance Australia's national agriculture statistics system, and to consider key barriers that will need to be overcome to enable their use.
