Productivity Booster - Loss Reducer

This project will support producers by firstly holding pre-season workshops / information sessions about the benefits of new agtech in their business, but also helping them to understand and overcome the real barriers to adoption that their fellow farmers and themselves face continuously in the modern era when adopting new tech.

We will be assisting Sugar Research Australia to provide farmers / producers with data and field results from trials and demonstrations on farms in the Herbert River District. This will be interpreted to allow farmers to understand the research findings. We will also nominate mentors who have been identified as early adopters of technology and change in the sugar industry, we believe this to be a pertinent support mechanism for farmers who are hesitant to adopt.
