Practical AgTech: existing and emerging innovations

The project will create networks and share knowledge using innovator or early adopter
producers that are operating ahead of the curve to share their technology adoption
experiences in a peer-to-peer learning environment. The on-farm activities will also create
opportunities to bring together farmers and technology providers together.
Producers will be able to see existing or emerging technology operating in a practical
on-farm situation enabling them to consider the technology in the context of their own
business. The use of peer-to-peer sharing of information, knowledge and experiences will
also provide an open forum for discussion of any practical difficulties experienced with
adopting various technologies (i.e. is data access easy, what maintenance is required, what
happens if there is no digital connectivity during a power outage, how easy is it to use, what
support is available, is it reliable? etc).
