Northern Australia Cotton Development & Coordination Leader

This project provided agronomic support, science leadership and coordination for a developing cotton industry in the tropical north of Australia, predominantly north of the Tropic of Capricorn. The provision of technical knowledge was supported by trials and modelling and focussed on biophysical challenges such as pest management, prevention of nitrogen loss specifically during the wet season and management options to minimise the impact of extreme weather events.
