National Animal Biosecurity RD&E Strategy Implementation Project

Good biosecurity practices are essential to support the sustainability of Australia’s livestock industries.

The aim of the National Animal Biosecurity Research, Development and Extension Strategy is to identify cross-sectoral biosecurity research gaps, as well as promoting research collaboration and coordination, improving resource efficiencies and reducing duplication.

The research providers and investors involved in the Strategy include the Australian Government, state and territory governments, research and development corporations (RDC), CSIRO, universities and private research providers.
