National Agribusiness Reference Group
The National Agribusiness Reference Group (NARG) is a group of senior agribusiness managers who represent agribusiness in GRDC's Northern, Southern and western regions. It aims to provide a formal communication link between the GRDC and the agribusiness sector. The NARG provides the GRDC with strategic recommendations for future investment in national research, development and extension, while simultaneously ensuring that agribusiness is more aware of GRDC plans, strategies and investments.
This increased engagement of the agribusiness sector with the GRDC will enable the sector to be at the cutting edge of technology, delivering effective services to growers and service chain clients. Grain growers will have access to advisers/consultants with a stronger understanding of the GRDC's portfolio and better understanding of GRDC's strategic direction.
