Improving the ability of the Australian cotton industry to report its sustainability performance

As production intensifies to meet demand, a decrease in environmental and social benefits may affect overall agroecosystem health, requiring a focus on sustainable production. This project identifies cotton’s important stakeholders, the sustainability issues industry should be reporting on, and ways sustainability can be reported. To improve the ability to report sustainability performance, this project creates a sustainability repository for different reporting needs, and visualisation tools for results. It adds value to performance reporting methods and recommends other improvements.
