Improving grower decision in complex systems: A targeted tool to assist cotton growers in appropriate technology adoption

Adoption choices of appropriate technology and digital systems for a farm business enterprise are often difficult to make given the array of factors that need to be considered, including financial, environmental and, just as importantly, often unrecognised personal attitudes and biases. This project seeks to develop a personalised tool to assist a grower to identify and prioritise appropriate technologies in which to invest, ones that are suited to their unique social, environmental and economic circumstances and trajectory.
