Improved management of silverleaf whitefly on cotton farms

This project was developed in response to industry concern that advice developed in Central Queensland for the management of silverleaf whitefly was not adequate for other regions.

It is revising the action thresholds (notably the threshold matrix) and sampling protocols for adults and nymphs based on population dynamics studies. The decision support package for silverleaf whitefly will also be informed by product screening trials with aim to preserve beneficials and maintain quality.
