Implementation of root system diagnostics to deliver a field-based measure for root health

This project is developing and validating a precision root sampling method and root health measuring tool that quantifies live sugarcane roots in field soil samples to determine plant root health and resultant agronomic performance. SRA acknowledges the funding contribution from the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF) towards this research activity.
