Horizon Scanning - Opportunities for new technologies and industries

The objectives of this project are to identify potential new agriculture industries that could emerge due to the influence of emerging technologies. Consideration of emerging technology as a catalyst to industry growth is highly relevant today, where technology driven disruption is expected to increase in the coming decades. The anticipation of relevant technologies has the potential to improve the existing capabilities of Australian rural industries, as well as create new opportunities from which to deliver value to the sector and to the Australian economy.
