Honours: Soil Coalescence & compaction in southern NSW

Sub-surface coalescence/compaction can significantly limit yields of all broad acre crops but there is limited understanding of whether it is a soil-specific phenomenon, or if it is influenced by irrigation and land management. This investment will examine the impact of irrigation and management on soil compaction and coalescence using paired site analysis.
