GRDC Grower Solutions - North
The GRDC Grower Solutions Projects are the link between regional research and localised development resulting in fast-tracked locally relevant outcomes and answers to research questions that help growers and agronomists make decisions on farm and result in practice changes that will increase farm production and profitability.
Northern Grower Alliance (NGA) Grower Solutions will service the southern Queensland (Qld) and northern New South Wales (NSW) area of the GRDC northern region, operating over six nodes: Liverpool Plains, Walgett, Moree/Narrabri, Goondiwindi, St George/Mungindi and the Darling Downs. In each of these nodes local growers and their advisers meet at least biannually to raise and prioritise issues in their local production that can potentially be addressed by GRDC funded R,D&E.
This investment will target short term issues i.e. in the one-three year time frame and package and extend findings back to the local and wider industry in a timely and efficient manner fostering easy and rapid adoption.
