GRDC Grower Solutions Extension for the northern region (Central Queensland)

GRDC Grower Solutions Projects are the link between regional research and localised development resulting in fast-tracked locally relevant outcomes to help growers make decisions that increase farm production and profitability. In partnership with Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (QDAF)and Fisheries, the GRDC Central Queensland Grower Solutions will operate over three nodes to service central Queensland.

The project will target short term issues (one-three year time frame) and provide rapid response to issues raised. Of particular importance is fast-tracking the packaging and extension of these findings with the ultimate aim of improving the rate of industry adoption uptake of improved practices as well as improved linkage between R&D agencies, growers, advisers and agribusiness in central Queensland.
