Fabric of War: Why Wool?
This investment produced the short film “Fabic of War: Why Wool?” capturing the Australian wool industry's history: illuminating the stories of ‘wool families’- graziers, shearers, wool buyers and wool brokers, and renewing awareness of the intrinsic attributes of wool. The film brings wool’s unique characteristics to the fore, particularly as they related to maximising the wellbeing of soldiers in cold and wet combat theatres, thereby establishing linkages to contemporary apparel needs.
