Economic Impact Assessments for Kangaroo, Export Fodder & Rice Programs

This project provides rigorous impact assessments of AgriFutures Australia's investments over a 5-year period in: (i) the Kangaroo Program; (ii) the Rice Program; and (iii) the Export Fodder Program. The assessments will assess economic, social and environmental impacts, and detail the net benefits to the industry concerned, the community and the Government. Key economic measures of the benefits will be provided, including Net Present Value (NPV), BenefitCost Ratio(BCR) and Modified Internal Rate of Return (MIRR). In addition, an assessment will be made of the distribution of the benefits between the sectors within the supply chain.
