Eagle Eye - Applying the Internet of Things to landscape scale Wedge-tailed eagle management
This project is applying the Internet of Things to identify the presence of wedge-tailed eagles in nesting locations across Tasmania. Utilising wireless Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) remote sensing technologies to improve wedge-tailed eagle management options for forestry and electricity network industries, by detecting and reporting wedge tailed eagle nesting activity. This data will inform operational decisions that avoid negatively impacting nesting.
