Discussion Paper on seafood traceability and labelling
As seafood consumption grows in Australia, consumers are seeking more information to make informed purchasing decisions. This investment will support a discussion paper that will address the following:
- What is traceability
- Understand the current Australian legal requirements for seafood traceability and labelling
- Understand current seafood traceability methods available including any in development
- Traceability impacts on product categories
- Identify improvement areas.
