Database capture of individual significant-scale Australian forestry plantation fire losses
The aim of this project is to build a knowledge base that will assist with risk management and strategic planning. Taking into account only the larger-scale losses (ie about 100 ha or more per fire), provide a database of plantation area fire losses by year, by region and by species. Where information is available, the maximum Forest Fire Danger for individual fires will be identified.
