Connecting Rice Research to the Internet of Things and beyond

This project will support producers on their Agtech journey by removing risks associated with identifying the correct IoT sensor networks and associated sensors for improving management decision-making. It will allow producers to see first-hand how farm-scale internet access can be used to improve decision making and reduce production costs. There is an overwhelming amount of information about new technology, which creates uncertainty and adds additional expense to the producer. The project would allow producers to see 1sthand how these technologies can be implemented and bring benefit to their enterprises.
