Biological Control of Giant Pine Scale in Australia
Giant pine scale (Marchalina hellenica) is a tiny scale insect that lives by sucking the sap of pine, fir and spruce trees. This project will assess the specialised biological control agent Neoleucopis and prepare an application to introduce the agent for long-term, sustainable management of giant pine scale in Australia.
