Artificial Intelligence in Wool
The Australian wool industry generates large amounts of data every day. Novel sources of data include digital imaging, GPS location and movement, high resolution biomarkers and bio-sensors, automatic capture of market and environmental data and individual animal performance data. This investment will provide an initial evaluation on the utility of Artificial Intelligence, and in particular Deep Learning, to accurately predict animal performance outcomes from a range of data sources including images, biomarkers and on-animal sensors.
