A Technical and Economic Assessment of Pongamia pinnata in Northern Australia Stage 2

The project will bring together information and observations on pongamia which have become available in the last ten years and will identify optimum management practices and benchmarks for yield and other aspects which need to be quantified for a full economic assessment.

The project will deliver technical information for pongamia production that supports commercial development and advance the economic assessments for the pongamia industry including modelling scenario and sensitivity analysis.

The output of this project is a report that includes full technical and economic evaluation of pongamia pinnata in Northern Australia. The output will provide potential investors, and/or stakeholders wishing to enter the pongamia industry, with the ability to assess the full technical and economic viability of an Australian pongamia industry to guide investment decisions.

This project will build on the preliminary report developed in PRJ-013030.
