The Leaf Protein Co.

The Leaf Protein Co unlocking Earth’s most abundant source of protein, RuBisCo, from green leaves. Our leaf protein ingredients are high in protein, free from allergens, not genetically modified and sourced from crop by-products and regenerative plants.

They're on a mission to build a library of leaf protein ingredients from different edible leaf sources. So that food companies can have a more biodiverse range of plant protein ingredients to create the plant-based foods that consumers are demanding.

Compared to other plant proteins, leaf protein sources are highly productive, and a future food crop that can sequester carbon and help regenerate unproductive farmland. This includes saltbush, one of our leaf sources which is used to desalinate unproductive soil in Australia.
