Marcroft Grains Pathology works primarily in the Australian canola industry, providing research on fungal pathogens. We have six staff. Areas of expertise include identifying individual disease resistance genes; disease ratings for industry, resistance breakdown managment; fungicide efficacy and stewardship; cultural practices to manage disease; App development for complete disease management. We maintain disease nurseries for germplasm screening, fungicide efficacy screening and disease monitoring sites. We have glasshouses, a pathology lab and a molecular lab.
