Fight Food Waste Cooperative Research Centre (Fight Food Waste CRC)

We are Australia’s, and one of the world's, largest food waste research, development, extension and commercialisation initiative with 60 participants and $120 million in combined resources over 10 years.

Our mission is to ENGAGE with industry and consumers to REDUCE food waste across the supply chain and to TRANSFORM unavoidable waste into innovative products.

Our strategic objectives are to deliver:

  • a suite of new tools and technologies for extracting the maximum value out of primary production, food manufacturing, supply chains and product sales, whether through supply chain innovation or waste transformation.
  • a reduction in food waste entering landfill and associated greenhouse gas emissions.
