Farmers2Founders
The Farmers2Founders (F2F) organisation is made up of experienced entrepreneurs in the global agrifood tech ecosystem. F2F puts primary producers at the centre of agrifood innovation, by creating pathways to get involved. Our pathways include new venture programs, for producers working on off-farm ideas or businesses, and early-adopter programs, for producers who want to engage with agtech solutions earlier and more strategically.
By empowering producers to more actively participate in the innovation process, we believe that we can get new solutions created and adopted that address the real industry challenges, and support producers to build new ventures that capture increased value and profitability.
F2F offers the following 3 programs:
Ideas Program
The F2F Ideas Program is a 3-month program designed for primary producers who are wanting to work out whether their business idea is worth pursuing.
The program allows farmers to test ideas, build capability and confidence to launch new products and services and kick start new business ventures by providing funding, tailored resources and coaching.
Learnings include lean startup, customer discovery and social media strategy.
Bootcamp Program
The Bootcamp Accelerator is a 6-month business support program for producer-led startups and SMEs who are looking for resources and support to accelerate their growth and provide funding, tailored resources and expert support to help producers acquire customers, expand into new markets, and raise capital if required.
Early Adopter Program
The F2F Early Adopter Program (EAP) helps producers find, filter, and work with technologies so that producers get early access to, and have input into, the best available solutions for your challenges. F2F has engaged directly with over 300 Australian primary producers from across industries and from all states and territories, supported 25 producers to engage strategically with technology, and helped 32 producer-led ventures on their own technology and value-adding commercialisation journey.
