Agrimix is a developer, producer and supplier of high performing perennial pasture legumes for use in pasture systems to increase animal productivity, soil fertility, soil carbon and reduce enteric methane emissions from livestock. Agrimix can also supply these legumes are part of a complete “pasture blend” including high productivity grasses and other perennial plants as a comprehensive solution for beef and lamb producers.
Agrimix is the first company in Australia to commission a large-scale scientific research study into eddy covariance flux tower technology in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology’s Professor, Peter Grace and Professor, David Rowlings. Agrimix will deliver a scientifically backed, state-of-the-art toolkit which will dramatically reduce the cost of soil carbon measurement by up to 90 percent for rural landowners. This will allow farmers to inset against their own carbon footprint or to participate in the fast-growing carbon market, which has been out of reach for many farmers due to the high cost and variable accuracy of current soil carbon measurement technologies.
