Industry challenge:

The evokeAG. Startup Program serves as a dynamic bridge within the agrifood tech landscape, linking emerging startups and ambitious scaleups with a diverse ecosystem encompassing farmers, innovators, researchers, industry giants, government bodies, and investors. Through this program, founders gain a compelling platform to not only share their stories and success but also to spotlight their groundbreaking innovation, which are pioneering transformative solutions to pressing global agrifood technology challenges.

Culinary Capital

A Night for Founders & Funders: The Investor Pitch Dinner has been reimaged to the Culinary Capital Dinner. This evening is designed to create a dynamic and immersive networking opportunity that brings together agrifood tech and innovation startups and scaleups and their target investment and/or customer audience.

The event will be held on Monday, 19 February 2024 at Postal Hall and will provide five startups and/or scaleups with the opportunity to pitch their ideas, innovations, and customer value propositions to potential funders and customers. Each company will receive a place in Startup Alley and:

  • 1 x startup station in Startup Alley at evokeAG. 2024
  • 2 x evokeAG. 2024 tickets
  • 2 x Founders Lunch invitations
  • 3 x nights’ accommodation
  • Featured on growAG.
  • Join the evokeAG. Startup Alumni

Culinary Capital is open to both Australian, New Zealand and Pacific Island agrifood tech startups and scaleups who meet the criteria.

40 agrifood tech startups will once again showcase their game-changing agrifood tech and innovation to delegates through Startup Alley. This year the theme is Exceptional Edge and AgriFutures will be looking for innovation that has an Exceptional Edge over others agrifood tech in the market. Each participating company will receive:

  • 1 x startup station in Startup Alley at evokeAG. 2024
  • 2 x evokeAG. 2024 tickets
  • 2 x evokeAG. Welcome Event tickets
  • 2 x Founders Lunch invitations
  • 3 x nights’ accommodation

Startup Alley is open to both Australian and international agrifood tech startups who meet the criteria.

Demo Area

As part of Startup Alley, startups will get the chance to show delegates how their technology works through a live demonstration in the new demo area within the exhibition hub.

Scaleup Station

An evolution for alumni companies, the Scaleup Station is a premium space to showcase growth. Six scaleups will be provided with a large, shared exhibition stand, a dedicated meeting area, and prominent branding. This provides a pipeline for evokeAG.

Startup Alumni to go from Startup Alley to one of the large-scale partner exhibitions in years to come. Companies must contribute $5,000 to participate in Scaleup Station to fit out the exhibition stand. Each participating company will receive:

  • Exhibition space with furniture, branding and an interactive screen
  • 2 x evokeAG. 2024 tickets
  • 2 x evokeAG. Welcome Event tickets
  • 2 x Founders Lunch invitations
  • Featured on growAG.
  • Join the evokeAG. Startup Alumni

Scaleup Station is open to both Australian and international evokeAG. Startup Alumni who meet the criteria.

Founders Lunch

A time for all startups and scaleups participating in the program to unwind with their fellow cohort after a big two-days. The evokeAG. Founders Lunch is designed for participants to engage with fellow founders, exchange insights, and explore collaborations over a long lunch.
