evokeAG 2022 Startup Program

The evokeAG. Startup Program is designed to build the capacity of startups in the global agrifood tech ecosystem whilst providing a platform for founders to share their stories, and to showcase their products that are providing solutions to global agricultural challenges.

Over four streams it will cater to early stage startups beginning their journey within the agrifood tech ecosystem, and showcase successful scaleups providing the opportunity to create new market opportunities. It will discover the latest in innovative technology, connect founders with customers and investors, and highlight the success stories in the agrifood tech sector.

Current opportunity - Investor dinner

The evokeAG. Investor Dinner offers five investment-ready startups the opportunity to pitch to a room of investors over an intimate dinner, and networking. An invite-only event on the eve of evokeAG. West & East, this facilitates conversations and connections between international and local investors and agrifood tech founders.

Applicants can apply for Investor Dinners in either or both evokeAG. West and East, and can also apply to participate in the Innovation Station at either or both events.

Who can apply?

  • Must be a registered business in/or Australia, New Zealand and/or the Pacific Islands
  • Must be able to showcase business success to date
  • Must be in the midst of a Series A or above capital raise, and must have previously raised seed funding
  • Must be Technology Readiness Level of 8-9.

What do founders receive?

  • 1 x evokeAG. event ticket
  • Opportunity to receive professional pitch coaching for investment if needed
  • Featured on the evokeAG. Directory
  • Featured in the evokeAG. Startup Handbook
  • Featured on evokeag.com.

Current opportunity - Innovation station

Innovation Station is evokeAG. West & East's new look Startup Alley. Set in the heart of the event, it is a platform for startups and scaleups to showcase their agrifood technology to delegates via an exhibition style booth. In 2022, there will be 10 spots available to founders at each event, providing the opportunity to connect your game-changing technologies with investors, corporates, government, producers, researchers and fellow founders.

Applicants can apply to participate in the Innovation Station at both evokeAG. West & East or at just one event.

Who can apply?

  • Startups and scaleups who are registered businesses (can be registered internationally)
  • Must have an agrifood innovation product to show at the event
  • Product must be solving local and/or global agricultural challenges
  • A maximum of five startups who have previously participated in evokeAG. Startup Alley are eligible to attend, a minimum of five startups/scaleups must be new to the evokeAG. Startup Program.

What do founders receive?

  • Exhibition space within Innovation Station fitted out with branding
  • 2 x tickets to evokeAG.
  • 2 x tickets to the evokeAG. Welcome Dinner
  • Curated networking opportunities with key stakeholders Featured on the evokeAG. Directory
