The accurate prediction of weather is critical to the success of agricultural industries. This project will investigate farmers' use of multi-week (2-8 weeks) and seasonal climate forecasts (1-6 months) through in-depth interviews with stakeholders from the meat, dairy, grain, wine and sugar industries, to determine ways to increase the uptake of climate information to improve productivity and profitability.

This project invested in Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) courses to develop leaders for the fishing industry who are capable of meeting unique and complex challenges at all levels of industry and across all sectors.
