This project will identify gaps in publicly available, standardised soils data that would assist growers in improving the resilience, productivity and utilisation of the land where radiata pine plantations are growing, or may be established.

The accurate prediction of weather is critical to the success of agricultural industries. This project will investigate farmers' use of multi-week (2-8 weeks) and seasonal climate forecasts (1-6 months) through in-depth interviews with stakeholders from the meat, dairy, grain, wine and sugar industries, to determine ways to increase the uptake of climate information to improve productivity and profitability.

The Livestock Export Program (LEP) invests in research, development and extension (RD&E) activities to enhance the productivity, sustainability and competitiveness of the red meat export industry. This project will assess the current priorities and sentiment of the industry, to ensure that LEP RD&E priorities remain relevant and effective.
