Golden fish: Evaluating and optimising the biological, social and economic returns of small-scale fisheries

The broad aim of this project was to assess the social and economic value of key small-scale, multi-sector fisheries in Western Australia, and estimate the potential cost and benefits of restocking or stock enhancement scenarios. Previously, poor quality data on the economic value of recreational and indigenous fishing has limited the development of optimal policies for these fisheries.
