My solution is in an early idea or ideation phase, can I still submit an application?
The Earthshot Prize focuses on solutions that with financial, communications, network and organisational support can rapidly scale or be replicated. This means they must be well beyond the idea stage but may still have development requirements before they are ready to scale their impact. Solutions that have already entered growth stage and are limited only by funding will benefit less from The Earthshot Prize and are therefore less of a focus.
What will I win?
The winners of each Earthshot receive £1 million each to scale their solutions, with 15 Finalists also receiving tailored support from their global alliance of partners.
The Fellowship programme aims to help all 15 Finalists supercharge their growth by unlocking new financial, networking and partnership opportunities. This programme includes a weeklong in-person retreat that provides the perfect opportunity to collaborate and share their ideas for growth. Throughout the Fellowship, specialist coaching and support is provided by organisations from the Global Alliance of expert businesses, NGOs and philanthropists to aid Finalists on their journey towards making a transformational impact.
More details regarding efforts to speed solutions to scale can be found in The Earthshot Prize impact reports and regular news stories on The Earthshot Prize website.
